Dr. Smith is a native of Boyd County, and he's extremely happy to be practicing medicine where he grew up. He joined the medical staff of King's Daughters in 2006, along with his wife, neurologist Melissa Smith, D.O. In 2007, he began offering Surgical Weight Loss procedures to patients.
Dr. Smith received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, W.Va., in 2001. He completed an internship at Grandview Medical Center/Ohio University in Dayton, Ohio, in 2002, and a residency there in 2006.
